2. Get regular exercise

Do what works for you. Kundalini yoga and nature walks work for me and I look forward to that every day. Exercise stimulates blood flow to your organs improving your digestive system. What entices you to move?

3.Get enough sleep

That means shutting down technology a couple of hours before you go to bed. Maybe taking a magnesium supplement to calm your nerves.

So many of us are rushing through our meals – If you cannot chew your food properly your organs have to work harder to break down your food. The mere act of mechanical breakdown of chewing is critical for digestion. Therefore so important to slow down and sit while you eat your food instead of multitasking through a meal.

We are seeing dental disease stemming from clenching and grinding the teeth This Impacts the cervical spine and the entire nervous system. You have to get to the root of the system and understand the underlying stress that’s causing clenching and grinding of teeth. What we eat is not always the issue it is also the state of our central nervous system.

As we know FIGHT or FLIGHT is the sympathetic nervous system and REST and DIGEST is the

parasympathetic nervous system. Many people are stuck in the sympathetic nervous system state. Yoga Meditation and Sleep and what you do every day is so important to flip yourself into the parasympathetic system. In order to digest your food you need to be in the REST and DIGEST state or the parasympathetic state.

You’ve heard this before but I cant stress enough how important it is to Incorporate stress relieving techniques like Yoga Meditation and Sleep for your digestive system. – just staying relaxed while you eat helps break down your food.
